GRIN AMA Interview with Community Member ‘‘Anynomous’’
An insightful view of GRIN’s past, present and future by Community Member ’’Anynomous’’ is published. Here are some valuable perspectives:
‘’Grin just checked all the boxes of what a good crypto project would be for me. In addition, it made me rethink and feel some of the early Bitcoin days. ‘’
‘‘In my opinion the direction of the ship has and always will be the same ‘balance and continuity.’’
‘‘Quality and quantity in community members show whether a project is alive or not.’’

Coinswap Tracking Issue for Milestone #3
For new comers, Coinswap is a transaction aggregation protocol where nobody can link inputs and outputs as long as just one of the mixnodes is honest; it was proposed by long-time Grin core developer Dr. J. Tromp, who is also the inventor of Cuckoo Cycle mining algo. The proposal is discussed on grin’s forum and general design is combined with the ideas and contributions of GRIN developers including @antioch, @tromp, @phyro, @vegycslol.
Tracking Issue for Milestone #3 initiated by @scilio, who is contributing to this long awaited implementation of ‘‘MWixnet’’. Review and tests are done by again GRIN developers @yeastplume, @tromp, @phyro, @dtavarez.
Coinswap is a big achievement for fungibility and privacy of the GRIN blockchain. When finished, GRIN will gain a huge advantage among all its peers. Development is carefully, steadily moving forward. Community is very excited about it. Here are some toughts from GRIN community:
‘‘We have a promising Coinswap design. If that’s not good news, I dont know what it is..’’
‘‘Once we get coinswap done and implemented, it will provide the real privacy utility people demand, with the scalability they need.’’
‘‘Maybe coinswap is better than monero. I think they're sufficient for most threats’’
‘‘ We need Coinswap. ’’
‘‘Tromp's Mimblewimble CoinSwap proposal is a good step in the direction of better privacy.’’
‘‘Coinswap also creates a use case for atomic swaps with BTC and puts Grin's privacy more on par with Monero's.’’
