6 years since the Genesis Block mined on January 15, 2019,Grin still Open-source, decentralized, private, and community-led, a resilient P2P crypto.
Grin stands out from many projects that usually have a central authority, whether a company or an individual, making the key decisions.
Instead, it has decentralization that does not require centralized hierarchical structures. Its core is designed for decentralized operations, leveraging cryptography to create a code structure that facilitates peer-to-peer transactions without relying on centralized control.
No single entity has the power to oversee or control the system, nor can they implement changes that might disrupt its functionality unless they act within the code, which is crafted to ensure transparency and stability. Grin’s decentralized approach is KEY for its resilience as always.

Grin lead developer Yeastplume stepped back from active development on Grin and related projects for the time being. He was actively leading the project since many year. That does not mean he will disappear completely, still involved with critical bugs and fixes.

GRIM developer ardocrat gave details about his contribution and future framework for Grin. A quite development plan of his own below.
Succesfully migrated Grim to own server, using personal Forgejo instance for code: https://gri.mw/code. Github is acting like mirror, all releases will be hosted and built here for better security and privacy. Registration will be opened lately.
