Grinventions the first Python-based implementation of the Mimblewimble protocol for the grin cryptocurrency has important developments. The developer of python implementation - @renzokuken announced that he just merged pull request 7, which gives mimblewimble-py a capability of building coinbase. You can track the developments via telegram channel and github.
